I really hope my website forgives me for not paying attention to it. I have added some new widgets, changed some colors, and modified the template in hopes that it will buy me love.

So, What's Happenin' Hot Stuff?

Since I last wrote, the world said goodbye to Ted Kennedy and will eventually say hello to either Scott Brown(R) or Martha Coakley(D). I suppose the state of Massachusetts wasn't ready to replace the Senatorial Lion with a pit bull...sorry Mike. I must admit, however, I am growing increasingly frustrated with the decrease in voter turnout. Just when I though November 3rd was bad, around the corner comes December 8th. Plus, it was the anniversary of John Lennon's death. The only thing that people seem to turnout in droves is to take away marriage rights from (tax paying) gay people. Hmmm...

My end-of-the-year review is coming up at the fruit stand. I hope all the candy and gum I brought in throughout the year makes it a smooth meeting. If you see me blogging A LOT, you know it was bad.

The Jeep is doing great and got her first taste of snow recently. She drove well and I love going up hills without the fear of sliding back. May Pea the Plymouth Neon rest in peace.

The post would not be complete if I did not mention the reason why I have neglected CourtneyOKeefe.Com. Ward5Online.Com (with corresponding Twitter Account) was created about a month ago to fill a void that was created during the summer months. I always have this desire to be involved and have finally decided to do it on my own terms. The website is being accepted wonderfully by both media and local organizations and is constantly being tweaked and updated to make it as user-friendly as possible. I am planning an official launch, streamlined site, and big announcements soon! I don't want to spoil the surprise here.
